Apple’s next big iPhone announcement will be for a 4G Verizon iPhone, instead of the iPhone 5. The 4G Verizon iPhone should be available in Alaska as early as this summer.

A new and welcome addition to the Alaska Cellular market, Verizon Wireless, one of the two largest cellular companies in the United States will be broadening your choices on wireless access and cell phone providers real soon. Verizon, in competition with AT&T, will be offering the iPhones including the iPhone 4 as well as the new iPhone 5 when it’s released in the fall of 2011.

Verizon 4G LTE in Alaska?

Lightning fast, that’s how the new Verizon 4G LTE Network is being described in other areas of the country. Now with great anticipation, Verizon has announced their plans to venture into the Alaska wireless market currently dominated by AT&T. Verizon will be bring their new high speed 4G LTE network to Alaska in the near future. No time frame has been stated as of yet for offering 4G LTE in Alaska. Once completed, Verizon will have 4G wireless service in all 50 states.

Verizon also has various 4G LTE modems allowing consumers to connect their laptops and more to the high speed network. More details regarding Verizon’s coverage and arrival dates are expected to come as Verizon gets closer to rolling out its all new services.
